Pain meds stolen from Ashland City drug store

ASHLAND CITY, TN (WSMV) -

Police in Ashland City said several bottles of prescription pain medication were stolen from a drug store Thursday night.

The burglary occurred at Empson Drug located on North Main Street.

Officers responded to an alarm call around 9:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found that the thief gained entry through a rear door of the building.

Surveillance video showed the burglar was wearing jeans, a coat and a mask and carrying a duffle bag.
