Suspected thieves with expensive tastes targeted stores at Green Hills Mall, but police said they didn't get far.
Charmette Pitts, Audrieanna Johnson and Rico Brown allegedly swiped thousands of dollars in merchandise from the mall Tuesday night.
Officers pulled them over on Hillsboro Pike near Interstate 440 and found merchandise from Burberry, Kate Spade, J Crew and Victoria's Secret with price tags and security sensors still attached.
All three suspects have criminal records, and Johnson and Brown are both also wanted in Kentucky on suspicion of shoplifting.
All three are now charged with three counts each of felony theft, one count of misdemeanor theft and possession of theft tools, and police said additional charges are pending.
