Suspect sought after K-Mart robbed in Smyrna

SMYRNA, TN (WSMV) -

Police are looking for a woman suspected of robbing a local K-Mart store.

Just after 4 p.m., a woman armed with a gun held up the store on North Lowry Street in Smyrna.

When she got the cash, she ran and jumped into a waiting car.

Officers pursued the woman and the male driver as far as the Davidson County line before the suspects' vehicle got away

They were traveling in a red Oldsmobile Alero with temporary tags.

Anyone who has seen the car or may have any information about the crime is asked to contact police in Smyrna or Metro.
