Woman found dead at Crossville motel; 2 charged

CROSSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two men are facing charges after a woman was found dead Tuesday night inside a motel in Cumberland County.

Emergency crews responded to the Budget Inn on Highway 127 South at about 7:50 p.m. after a call regarding a deceased woman.

The woman was identified as Paula Brenda Sue Selby, 41, of Crossville, TN.  Investigators said she died of head injuries from blunt force trauma. 

Police have charged Travis Allen Brumbalough, 26, with first-degree murder and Franklin Dewey Adcox, 65, with tampering with evidence.

Brumbalough is being held on $1 million bond while Adcox is being held on $50,000 bond.

Both men are scheduled to be in court Feb. 11.
