CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Clarksville man wanted on a long list of charges including robbery and domestic assault surrendered to police officers Saturday morning.

According a news release from Officer Jim Knoll, Mark Austin Ellis, 19, turned himself into authorities at 9:30 a.m.

Knoll said Ellis was interviewed and then booked for aggravated robbery, domestic assault, criminal trespass, and several other charges.

Knoll said Ellis mentioned while he was being interviewed that he had seen himself repeatedly displayed in media reports.

Ellis was sought in relation to a call Jan. 15 on Lincoln Drive, Knoll said.

Dispatchers had received a call that a man had been shot in the foot and robbed. The 33-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital with a non life threatening injury.

Police said one of the suspected robbers was Ellis, who already had felony warrants on file.
