FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -
If you're taking a weekend shopping trip to Cool Springs mall, you'll want to be aware of some road closures.
Cool Springs Boulevard eastbound will be closed from Mack Hatcher Parkway to Windcross Court beginning Friday at 8 p.m. through Monday at 6 a.m.
Signs will direct drivers to use Liberty Pike and Franklin Road for detours around the closure.
The road work is part of a $22.8 million construction project to widen Mack Hatcher Boulevard. The project, which began in late 2011, is scheduled to be complete in May 2014.
