Tennessee law enforcement has arrested a man wanted in connection to a Wisconsin homicide after he was stopped Thursday for a traffic violation on Interstate 65 in Sumner County.

An investigator with the 18th Judicial Drug Task Force stopped a BMW SUV with Wisconsin tags about 2:30 p.m. near mile marker 98.

According to the task force, as the vehicle was stopped, an alert was broadcast to be on the look out for an SUV matching its description.

After a search, a gun was found inside the vehicle, and the driver appeared to have a hand injury and blood on his clothing.

The investigator then arrested the driver, 45-year-old Ryan G. King, who faces warrants for a murder earlier in Racine, WI.

King was booked in Sumner County on charges of felon in possession of a firearm and being a fugitive from justice.
