FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -
Williamson County is moving forward on a proposal to put school resource officers in every school in the district.
County commissioners approved a resolution to add 32 officers at a cost of about $2.5 million.
The money will come from the county general fund balance.
The SROs will be paid through the end of June.
