MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -
A plumber employed by Rutherford County Schools is accused of raping a child.
William Henry was arrested on Friday.
Police said Henry met the alleged victim through the child's mother months ago.
The Rutherford County Schools system said the child is not a student in its schools and it has placed Henry on unpaid suspension during the investigation.
The district also says background checks on Henry prior to his hiring did not show any offenses.
