Western KY roads affected by flash flooding

Posted: Updated:

In western Kentucky, flash flooding causes sections of several roads and highways to be shut down.

In Henderson County, portions of Kentucky 1557 remain closed this morning. There is still high water on Kentucky 2183.

Sections of Kentucky 1380 and Kentucky 2355 in Muhlenberg County are also closed.

In Union County, portions of Kentucky 141, Kentucky 760, and Kentucky 270 are closed.

Closings in Webster County include sections of Kentucky 138 and Kentucky 270.

Several other counties have posted water over road signs on certain areas that are prone to flooding.

Kentucky 298 and 762 in Daviess County are both closed.

However, if you are on the roads this morning, drive slowly and watch out for standing water that might have frozen overnight.
