Police investigate shooting along Jefferson St.

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro Police are investigating a shooting along Jefferson Street in North Nashville.

The scene is at Paul's Market, near Fisk University and Nashville General Hospital. The call went out around 5:30 Sunday morning.

Our crew saw medics load one person into an ambulance. Officers say they will release more information later today.
