Smyrna home destroyed in fire

SMYRNA, TN (WSMV) -

Fire destroyed a family's home Friday night in Smyrna.

Just before 7 p.m., firefighters were called to the house in the 400 block of McClary Road.

Crews extinguished the flames, but the house was a total loss.

Authorities said the America Red Cross is helping the residents find another place to stay.
