Homemade Hot Chocolate
½ cup cocoa
½ to ¾ cup sugar (depends on how sweet you want it)
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
splash of vanilla
homemade whipping cream
chocolate shavings
Stir together dry ingredients. Add warm milk (either heated on stovetop or in microwave), stirring well to combine. (Use a small whisk). Pour into mugs and add a splash of vanilla. Top with homemade whipping cream and chocolate shavings.
**Adults may add a shot of Irish cream to their hot chocolate.
