CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A Clarksville man has been identified as one of five Americans killed in a helicopter crash this week in Peru.
Jaime Pickett, a resident of Montgomery County, was one of the passengers onboard a chopper that crashed 485 miles east of Lima on Monday.
Pickett had been working as a mechanic for the Oregon-based Columbia Helicopters, which owned the aircraft.
The company was in Peru to work on a petroleum exploration project.
