Fire destroys Greenbrier home

GREENBRIER, TN (WSMV) -

A mother and her two children managed to escape a house fire Monday evening in Greenbrier.

The fire broke out at about 6:30 p.m. when a candle was knocked over at the home on Distillery Road near Long Branch Drive.

Flames quickly spread to the roof, and the home was a total loss, according to fire officials.
