NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police are looking for answers after two deadly shootings over the weekend.

Late Saturday night, Wheeler Shuntez Goldman, 35, also known as Wheeler Drew, died after he was shot on Joseph Avenue in East Nashville.

Officers in the area heard the shots around 11:35 p.m. and found Goldman dead in his car, which had crashed through a fence at the Salvation Army Center.

Investigators are still trying to figure out who shot Goldman and why.

Police said he was free on bond on charges of gun possession by a convicted felon, leaving the scene of an injury accident, failure to report an accident and driving without a license.

Teen killed near bar

A teenager was also killed during a shooting outside a west Nashville bar early Sunday.

Police believe that Donteze Howse, 18, was leaving Johnny's Tavern on Centennial Boulevard when two men opened fire on a crowd of people.

Howse was hit in the upper leg and died at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Two other men also showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds.  Both of them are expected to recover.
