Springfield man in custody after wife found dead

SPRINGFIELD, TN (WSMV) -

A Springfield man wanted in connection to the death of his wife is now in police custody.

Officials said Maria Mora was found dead Friday.

Police had been searching for her 33-year-old husband, Hugo Morales-Correa, since Saturday.

Morales-Correa was arrested Sunday by officers in Knoxville, TN.

He was transported to the Knox County Detention Facility where he will remain in custody until he is transported back to the Robertson County Detention Facility.
