Two charged with attempted homicide in South Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police arrested two men Friday in connection to a December shooting in South Nashville.

Leon Tyson, 24, and Jawaan Walker, 24, were both charged with attempted homicide.

Police had been searching for the men since the Dec. 2 shooting of 37-year-old Harry Dillard.

Dillard was shot in the stomach in a condo on Tampa Drive.  According to affidavits, Walker and Tyson live nearby. 

The documents also state that a witness identified the suspects in a photo lineup.

Walker, the alleged shooter, was jailed on $1,000,000 bond.  Tyson is being held on  a $750,000 bond.

The suspects are scheduled for a court hearing Jan. 9.
