No injuries reported after Loretto train derailment

LORETTO, TN (WSMV) -

No one was hurt when a trail derailed in Lawrence County on Friday night.

The train was passing through Loretto, TN, just after 7 p.m. when it jumped the tracks.

At least three cars derailed near Beartown Road and Highway 43, which is not far from Loretto High School.

Our news partners at WLX Radio reported the train was not carrying hazardous materials.
