A medical helicopter had to make an emergency landing in Nashville on Monday morning.
An Air Evac LifeTeam helicopter was making a final approach to St. Thomas Hospital around 11 a.m. and had to land in a field, according to hospital spokesman Amanda Anderson.
The pilot landed in an area between the hospital and Aquinas College.
One patient was on board, and was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
It wasn't clear what prompted the emergency landing. Nobody was hurt.
