CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
One person was transported by air to Vanderbilt and two others were treated at a local hospital after a two-car crash on 101st Parkway this morning.
A 31-year-old man was driving a Chrysler Sebring west on 101st Parkway at a high rate of speed about 2:30 a.m. when he crashed into a pickup truck near the intersection of Peachers Mill Road.
The driver of the Sebring, who has not been identified, was transported by air to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a head injury.
The two males in the pickup truck, the 23-year-old driver and 32-year-old passenger, were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to authorities, speed and alcohol may have been a factor in the wreck.
