Heat could go out at Rutherford County Jail

MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

The Rutherford County Jail could be without heat if another boiler fails.

The Daily News Journal reports one of the jail's two boilers went out on Friday after a blown pipe.

Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold is concerned the other boiler could go out as well.

He said there is a backup plan if the remaining boiler fails, but it would take 10 hours before the heat returns.
