NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Metro police have identified the victim of a fatal crash on D.B. Todd Boulevard overnight.
The crash happened just before midnight on D.B. Todd near Hermosa Street.
Police said 92-year-old Ford E. Otey died at General Hospital.
Investigators said Otey's son, Ford R. Otey, crossed the center line and crashed into another car.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the other car, Henry Jackson, was also taken to the hospital, but his injuries were not as serious.
Police do not know why Ford R. Otey crossed the center line.
They said there is no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement.
