Body found near church in Shelbyville

SHELBYVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Authorities in Bedford County have discovered a body that may belong to a missing Shelbyville man.

Family members said the body of Charles "Motoe" Farrar, 42, was found by one of his cousins behind a church near South Brittain Street on Thursday.

Farrar was last seen by his girlfriend early Sunday morning.

Authorities confirmed a body was found in that location but would not say whether or not it was Farrar, according to the Times-Gazette newspaper.
