NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Police arrested a Nashville man and charged him with raping a woman who answered his fraudulent internet ad for secretarial help.
Timothy E. Story, 38, was arrested at his Dr. D.B. Todd Boulevard home after a 45-year-old Madison woman reported Story raped her after she arrived at 4 p.m. Wednesday to interview for a receptionist position in response to an ad on Craigslist.
The victim said that as she reached to her purse for her resume, Story overpowered her, refused to let her leave and repeatedly sexually assaulted her.
In an interview with detectives, Story admitted that he placed the false internet ad for the purpose of luring a woman to his is home.
Story was charged with three counts of rape, one count of sexual battery and one county of aggravated kidnapping in regard to this case.
Any other women who may have had contact with Story, particularly initiated through an Internet ad, are urged to call the police department's Sex Crimes Unit at 615-862-7540.
