CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A third person is facing charges in connection with an argument and shooting over a balloon in Clarksville this fall.
A grand jury indicted Detarius Lee Curry, 20, from Clarksville, TN, for attempted homicide and reckless endangerment. Police said Curry was arrested at a traffic stop this week.
James Antonio Bagwell and a 16-year-old boy were previously arrested after the incident occurred in September.
Police said a fight started when a 2-year-old got her hands on a balloon that was tied to a home that was going to be shown by a real estate agent.
When the balloon was retrieved from the child by a man, an argument and shooting ensued with some of the residents on Barkwood Drive.
Curry's bond is set at a$100,00.
