NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Police said a man was found stabbed Wednesday morning at the Knights Inn on Spring Street.
A cleaning woman found the victim around 10:30 a.m. wrapped in blankets with several stab wounds, said investigators.
The man, identified as Kimberly Tyson, 56, was not registered to be in the room. Police found prescription medication and a large knife inside the room.
Tyson was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center and underwent surgery. He told police before surgery that he didn't inflict the wounds on himself and didn't know who attacked him.
