Corona, saved by Warren County Humane Society
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A pop star born and raised in Nashville is stepping up to help a local animal group.
Ke$sha and her mother Pebe hosted Saturday night a benefit for the Warren County Humane Society.
Ke$sha also made a special appearance.
The singer was inspired by a story about a box-mix named Corona. Corona was beaten, shot and left for dead. But, with the help of the humane society, Corona made a full recovery.
"In the process I found out about the amazing things that they do out there, and it's just Clay and his wife Tammy and their volunteers and they save like, I think it was like four thousand pets," said Ke$sha's mother Pebe Sebert.
All the money raised will help the humane society and other dogs like Corona.
