NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Metro police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday night in the Whites Creek area.
Police received a call from Highland Trace Drive around 7 p.m. and found one person, later identified as Cedric T. Robinson, 27, was shot to death and another wounded.
Robinson and Raheem McCall, 20, both of Star Boulevard, were seated in a silver Chevrolet Malibu when they were hit by gunfire, said police.
Robinson died at the scene. McCall was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
A quantity of marijuana packaged for resale was recovered from the scene, said police.
