Former Gallatin officer pleads guilty to DUI

GALLATIN, TN (WSMV) -

A former Gallatin police officer pleaded guilty Wednesday after he was arrested on drunken driving charges last summer.

Paul Perry was sentenced to serve two days in jail.

He was off-duty when he was arrested in Sumner County and later resigned his position with the police department.

Since his arrest, he has been working for the city as a dispatcher. Officials have not decided if he will keep his job.
