PARIS, TN (WSMV) -
A nurse in Henry County is being praised for saving the life of a choking infant Dec. 10.
Whitney Webb performed CPR on Addison, an 8-month-old, when the child's mother suddenly brought her to Weatherford's doorstep.
Addison's mom panicked when she found the baby choking and went door-to-door in their apartment complex for help.
Since Webb had just moved in, the neighbors had never met, and Addison's mom didn't know that Webb was a trained nurse.
Using her training, Webb was able to remove a piece of french fry from the infant's throat and use compressions to save the child.
