BOWLING GREEN, KY (WSMV) -
Police in Kentucky said they have arrested a suspect in connection with a Bowling Green bank robbery that occurred Monday morning.
James L. Russell is accused of the robbery of the South Central Bank on Nashville Road.
Police said Russell demanded money and told a teller he had an explosive in his pocket.
On Tuesday, Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement stopped a vehicle in which Russell was riding and arrested him on unrelated charges.
Police later charged Russell with robbery Thursday morning.
