CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
There are new guidelines regarding noise in Clarksville following a vote Thursday night.
In a 10 to 2 vote, the City Council approved what decibel-level limits are allowed in the city.
The city's speedway was granted an exemption as long as racing does not go past 1:30 a.m.
A compromise was also reached on garbage pickup times, allowing them between 5 a.m.. and 10 p.m.
