Rutherford Co. man accused of stealing from employer

MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

A Rutherford County employee is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a Murfreesboro business.

Jerry Alexander, 50, of Christiana, TN, is accused of keeping money from customers and voiding their transactions at a business called Alley Cassetty Brick and Block on New Salem Road.

Investigators said he also sold the company's scrap metal for personal profit.
