Flu closes Stewart County schools

DOVER, TN (WSMV) -

Stewart County schools will be closed the rest of the year because of illness and the holidays, according to the transportation director.

School was scheduled for Friday, Monday and Tuesday, but officials decided to cancel school and begin the holiday break early.

Other Middle Tennessee counties have previously canceled classes this fall due to the flu.
