CROSSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Investigators have made an arrest in connection with the death of a Cumberland County woman.
John Giles Jr., 61, is charged with killing his 58-year-old girlfriend, Kimberly Batty.
Giles called 911 in November and told police he found Batty unresponsive inside her home on Dovenshire Drive.
Investigators said that was a lie and he was actually the person who attacked her.
Giles is facing first-degree murder charges and is being held on a $2 million bond.
