Whether you realized it or not, today was a day that only comes around every 100 years, and plenty of people didn't miss the chance to celebrate it.
It's the 12th day of the month on the 12th month of the year in the year 2012, which makes today's date 12-12-12.
Wednesday isn't usually a wedding day for anyone, but today was different. The couples just kept coming.
Nashville's Bridal Path Wedding Chapel and today's date meant the bride and groom rooms stayed busy.
Lakenya Day was ready for her hesitant groom Michael to say "I do" years ago, knowing those perfect days would go away.
"I was like, '10-10-10', Michael's like, 'How about 12-12-12?'" said Day when asked when she was getting married. "So now it's 12-12-12."
For one couple getting married on Wednesday, 12-12-12 wasn't good enough. They waited until 12 minutes after 12 to say their vows.
Pastor Red Michael figured he'd marry more than a dozen couples before the day was over.
"It's almost like a production line, in a way, because so many want to do it," said Michael. "Some shy away from it for the same reason, they don't want to be just one more wedding."
The number 12 did have a certain significance for a couple of the couples.
They pointed out Jesus' 12 disciples as a key reason for wanting to be linked in marriage to this day.
