NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Metro police have made more arrests in an international cocaine ring that investigators said was funneling drugs into Middle Tennessee.
Last week, officers raided the Lexington Apartments in Bellevue and seized cocaine.
Now, 13 people are in custody including Emmett Harvell, 39, the owner the "Rozay" nightclub on East Thompson Lane.
Investigators said Harvell was among those who arranged for the drugs to be shipped from Mexico to Nashville.
Police also arrested Charles Ward III, 32, who is accused of also arranging for cocaine deliveries. Harvell and Ward operated independently of each other but used the same out-of-state supplier, according to authorities.
Court document say that Harvell and others distributed about one kilo of cocaine in a several school zones including Gower Elementary and Bass Middle School.
In all, 34 pounds of cocaine, 16 weapons, 17 vehicles and more than $350,000 in cash have been confiscated.
Harvell was arrested in July after police said he plowed through a barricade that was blocking the ramps to Interstate 24.
