SMITHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
The man accused of shooting two people to death in DeKalb County will appear before a judge later this morning.
David Dixon is facing two counts of first degree murder for the deaths of Ervin Beacham and Jose Ticante.
Dixon is currently jailed with a $200,000 bond.
In August, police found Beacham shot to death inside his home in Smithville.
Investigators found Ticante's body hidden under a tarp in the backyard.
Dixon was officially charged with the crime last week after a lengthy investigation. He was already in jail on unrelated charges.
