In the recent past, it had come to the attention of Fairview Soccer Association (FSA) in Fairview, TN that an integral member of the FSA board had acted in a manner unbecoming of an FSA board member. Upon the discovery of such information, the FSA Board removed this individual from all affiliation with FSA, immediately began an effort to investigate the potential issues, and took actions to preserve the association.
As members of this community, FSA has adopted several new board members, with intentions of effectively rebuilding the board, and the organization, at the fundamental level. This includes a required level of checks and balances, within the board positions and responsibilities, in order to better preserve the integrity of the board and the association it is intended to direct and support.
With the engagement of outside entities FSA researched this incident and focused toward resolution. FSA did deem it necessary to engage the Fairview Police Department as a reasonable and prudent measure. FSA appreciates your understanding and support of our inability to discuss details surrounding this matter. FSA stands strong in the ability to recover from this incident and provide the atmosphere that will continue to mold our organization into a positive Soccer Association for our children.
