The most wonderful time of the year includes egg nog, for sure! Egg nog pudding is very easy to make and you might even want to make an egg nog pie or egg nog trifles with this recipe.
AIMEE FORTNEY'S EGG NOG PUDDING
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 whole eggs
4 egg yolks
2 cups whole milk
1 cup egg nog
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
freshly grated nutmeg (about 1/2 teaspoon)
Stir together sugar, flour, eggs, milk and egg nog in a saucepan and cook over medium heat, whisking constantly for about 10 minutes. The consistency should be thick, like pudding. It will begin to bubble (but do not boil). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nutmeg. Chill for at least four hours.
