CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Clarksville police have identified the drivers involved in a crash involving a pickup and a car early Sunday that claimed the life of a young man.

The collision happened around 12:37 a.m. at the intersection of Trenton Road and 101st Parkway.

Police said Kristen B. Miller, 23, was driving a pickup south on Trenton Road and failed to yield to a Honda driven by a 26-year-old Tegan K. Papageorge.

Officers said the woman made a left turn to go east on the 101st Parkway, and the Honda collided into the pickup.

Papageorge was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected, police said. He was transported to Gateway Medical Center, where he died.

Miller was also transported to Gateway but suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Officers said that they appreciated help from witnesses at the crash scene. Any witnesses who have not spoken to officers can contact the lead investigator, Sgt. Vince Lewis, at 931-648-0656, ext. 5297.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending, police said.
