Comic artist coming to Nashville to help charity

Posted: Updated:

Some of the comic industry's top artists will use their talent to help a pair of charities in Nashville.

Next Saturday, artists from Disney, Marvel, and newspaper comics will sketch portraits for donations at Rick's Comic City in Donelson.

The donations will be used to help critically ill children and rescue animals.

One of the artists taking part is Nancy writer Guy Gilchrist.

He said he would gladly sketch images of Nancy, Sluggo, or the Muppets for donations.

People who donate will also have the option of having their portrait sketched by the artists.
