NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A nightclub operator with a history of trouble has more problems.
A federal grand jury indicted Paul Eichel yesterday on an illegal gun possession charge.
He operated Silverado's Dance Hall, which later became Yea Baby's, on Murfreesboro Road.
Metro police padlocked the club last year, and then again this year, calling it a public nuisance.
According to the indictment, Eichel had a gun in his possession when Yea Baby's was padlocked.
Because he has a lengthy criminal history that includes federal drug convictions, he is prohibited from owning or possessing a gun.
