Antioch residents are organizing their efforts to keep a Target store from closing.
Last month, Target announced plans to close the store on Cane Ridge Road in Antioch.
Almost immediately, neighbors began circulating petitions to keep the store open. They have also had a rally to show support.
The latest event is a community meeting Thursday night sponsored by council member Jacobia Dowell.
The meeting will be held in the Ezell-Harding Christian School auditorium beginning at 6:30. The school is located on Bell Road near the Murfreesboro Road intersection.
