21-year-old man accused of sex with minor

CARTHAGE, TN (WSMV) -

A Smith County man was arrested Tuesday by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation over allegations of sexual activity with a minor.

Jerry Ryan Lewis, 21, of Elmwood, TN, was indicted by the Smith County grand jury on two counts of statutory rape for engaging in sexual activity with a minor child between April and September 2011.

Lewis was arrested Tuesday night and booked into the Smith County Jail on $2,000 bond.
