Wreck closes I-24 West near Sam Ridley Blvd. exit

SMYRNA, TN (WSMV) -

Interstate 24 West is closed after a wreck involving multiple vehicles near Sam Ridley Boulevard in Rutherford County.

Two medical helicopters have been dispatched to the scene.

Reports from the scene indicate seven cars may be involved in the accident.
