WHITE HOUSE, TN (WSMV) -
A 9-year-old girl was crossing the road with her family when she was struck by an SUV as the White House Christmas parade passed by, according to investigators.
Police Chief Pat Brady told the Robertson County Times that it happened around 4 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Main Street and College Street.
Brady said the girl suffered a cut to the head and was suffering from some leg pain.
The child was transported to Hendersonville Medical Center.
There have been no citations or charges filed in the incident so far, according to Brady.
