Gallatin police take children shopping

GALLATIN, TN (WSMV) -

Members of the Gallatin police department, fire department,and Sumner County Sheriff's Office took 105 children Christmas shoppingSaturday.

Through fundraisers, the children each had $150 to spend.

Police taking the kids shopping said in most cases thechildren spend the bulk of the money on their family members instead ofthemselves.
