NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Eight students at a Metro middle school became ill and were hospitalized Friday after they allegedly ingested some type of pill at school.
The eighth grade students were transported around 2 p.m. from Madison Middle School, located at 300 Old Hickory Boulevard, to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
A school spokesperson said the students were hospitalized for precautionary reasons, and a hospital spokesperson said each is in stable condition.
